• JAS Certification

  System that specify standard for Plywood and Laminated Veneer Lumber products for use in Japan. The applicable standard comply with Japan Agricultural Standard (JAS Standards) that´s established by the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan. Surveillance twice a year.

  
  

  2002, July 29 – PT KTI is awarded JAS Certification.

  JAS-certified products of PT KTI are Plywood, Laminated Veneer Lumber and Glued Laminated Timber.

• CARB

  CARB specify standard for formaldehyde emission from composite wood product that comply with the provision of California Code of Regulation 93120 Concerning Airborne Toxic Control Measure, as well as specify the quality assurance that comply with quality assurance requirements of 93120. Surveillance 4 times per years.

  
  

  2008, December 31 – PT KTI is awarded CARB

  CARB-certified product is Hardwood Plywood Veneer Core with formaldehyde emission standard ; phase 2 (0.05 ppm) and Particle Board with formaldehyde emission standard ; phase 2 (0.09 ppm).

• CE Marking

  Compliance to the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), which is shown by a product carrying a CE mark, indicates compliance with EU legal requirements, and allows a manufacturer to place his product on the market in any EU Member State. It is basically a device to promote free trade throughout the EU. Surveillance twice a year.

• OHSAS 18001 : 2007

  OHSAS standard specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety management system, to enable an organization to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance. OHSAS standard can be applied in the organization to minimize risks to personnel and other parties related to organizational activity .   In determining the scope of MK3L Integration Management System, PT KTI considers the analysis of environmental protection especially considering life cycle perspective in product usage, from manufacturing to final process (received by consument), so that PT KTI's wood manufacturing does not cause deforestation / reduction the number of trees in the forest that have an impact on the environment such as: global warming, landslides, biodiversity damage and ecosystem damage
