Probolinggo - In celebrating the 73rd Indonesia’s Independence Day, Thursday (08/17/2018) numerous of activities and competitions were held by PT Kutai Timber Indonesia at the KTI Quarters on Jalan Brantas, Pilang-Probolinggo. The commemoration of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia is held annually and attended by employees and their families.

In accordance with the theme set by the government, namely “Our Work is Nation’s Achievement”, Mr. Firdaus Dja'far as Executive Officer of PT KTI delivered in his remarks to make the momentum of the Indonesia’s Independence Day as a reminder for all employees to continue the effort by working well and making PT KTI a more successful company in the future.

The event was enlivened by a variety of activities including arts and sports competitions involving employees and their families from all divisions. The competitions aim to strengthen the brotherhood, increase sportsmanship and teamwork. The event is started by fun walk, volleyball final competition, tug of war, coloring competition, sackrace, marbles race and music performances by employees’ band.

To celebrate the 73rd Indonesia’s Independence Day, the committee provides various prizes for race winners, fun walk participants and door prizes for the attending employees. These prizes include mountain bikes, washing machines, fans, blenders, and many more.

With the spirit of Indonesia's independence, the successors of the nation should defend the independence and fill it with various activities to build the nation. Hopefully our work makes Indonesia more successful. May we always remain independent!
