Probolinggo – The KTI Darma Bakti Foundation is an educational foundation under the guidance of PT Kutai Timber Indonesia that contributes to helping excellent / underprivileged / abandoned children to get educational facilities and produce talented human resources.

Following its vision, the KTI Darma Bakti Foundation consistently assists schools, educational foundations and social institutions that shelter underprivileged and abandoned children. One of the social institutions that receive a donation from the KTI Darma Bakti Foundation is Nahdlatul Ulama' Social Welfare Institution for Orphaned and Abandoned Children in Probolinggo City.

Assistance is given to all students in the form of toiletries such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and towels. Besides, the assistance also included cleaning soap such as laundry soap, dish soap, floor cleaner, etc. This assistance was given because the NU Institution for Orphaned and Abandoned Children in Probolinggo City had received other donations, such as food and stationery.

Another reason is, due to the rampant outbreak of COVID-19, it is expected that the orphaned and abandoned students in Nahdlatul Ulama’ Probolinggo City can better maintain personal and environmental hygiene so that they can maintain their health and avoid disease.

This donation was given directly by the Chairperson accompanied by the Supervisor and Members of the KTI Darma Bakti Foundation to Mr. Husen as Caregiver and Administrator of the NU Institution for Orphaned and Abandoned Children in Probolinggo City on February 29, 2020.

Mr. Azis Sidqie as Chairperson of the KTI Darma Bakti Foundation hopes that students can have a culture of a clean and healthy life so they can continue to excel at school with this assistance.
