JAKARTA – PT Kutai Timber Indonesia has once again received the PROPER award in the GREEN category for 2025. This marks the fourth time PT KTI has received this recognition, following its highest achievement of the PROPER GOLD award in 2024.

The 2025 PROPER GREEN award was officially presented by a representative of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to 227 companies, including PT KTI. The award was personally received by PT KTI’s Executive Officer, Mr. Mohamad Zubair.

“The PROPER GREEN award is a testament to PT KTI’s commitment to implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial practices. Although we achieved the PROPER GOLD award last year, we are still proud of this year’s PROPER GREEN recognition and will continue striving to improve our environmental management performance,” said Mr. Mohamad Zubair.

It is important to note that the PROPER GREEN award is granted to companies that go beyond regulatory compliance in environmental management by implementing effective environmental management systems, utilizing resources efficiently, and fulfilling their corporate social responsibility.

This award is expected to inspire more timber companies to take greater responsibility for both the environment and the surrounding communities.
