PT KTI is committed to becoming a leading company in Plywood, Particle Board, and Wood Working industries by producing high-quality Products and Services at the best value to meet the needs of communities around the world, by implementing the following:
1. Produce high-quality and competitive Plywood, Particle Board, and Wood Working products.
2. Utilize natural resources and energy efficiently, obtained from legal sources, without causing environmental damage by considering the life cycle perspective, and ensuring safety for employees.
3. Apply the principle of preventing occupational accidents, health disorders, and environmental pollution.
4. Actively create harmony between company activities and the surrounding environment.
5. Consider every environmental aspect and impact, as well as risks and hazards, in every new product design and/or new process.
6. Increase employee awareness of the importance of prioritizing occupational health and safety (safety first) in all production and service activities.
7. Actively evaluate environmental management progress, seek alternative technologies, and support the environmental life cycle.
8. Clearly define responsibilities, authorities, and communication channels both internally and externally.
9. Prepare and respond to emergency situations and conduct reporting, analysis of any deviations, pollution, accidents, and potential hazards that have occurred or may occur.
10. Treat all workers equally and will not discriminate against workers with HIV/AIDS in obtaining employment opportunities, promotions, training, or any special conditions or treatment.
11. Commit to the prevention of tuberculosis (TBC) by providing education and services, as well as creating a good work environment with proper ventilation and suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
12. Improve personnel performance and competence through planned and continuous training programs.
13. Create a healthy and pleasant work atmosphere to prevent injuries and health problems related to work activities.
14. Ensure participation and consultation of all employees in improving the performance of the Integrated Management System of Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment.
15. Apply the hierarchy of hazard controls to eliminate hazards and reduce OHS risks.
16. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations at the local, national, regional, and international levels.
17. Conduct regular inspections and evaluate the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment.
18. Continuously improve to enhance the performance of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment optimally.
This policy is documented, maintained, implemented, and communicated to all levels of the organization within PT KTI and to relevant parties, stakeholders, and the public.
